As a Graphic Design Intern at Ink In Caps (IIC), I contributed to a variety of design projects spanning branding, digital, and product communication. While my primary role focused on graphic design, I was also entrusted with UI/UX tasks, 3D conceptualisation, and creating design systems. I worked on key internal IPs like V-Retail and V-Estate, along with selected client projects, collaborating closely with creative leads and content teams.
I designed visually engaging content including Instagram carousels, promotional posts, thumbnails, website banners, and branded templates. Beyond static visuals, I crafted UI elements such as buttons, page structures, and icon systems. I also developed foundational assets like design systems and brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across platforms. The style across outputs remained bold, clean, and conversion-focused, tailored to match each brand’s visual tone and user goals.
Tools I used: Figma, Adobe Suite, Illustrator & Photoshop.
Though primarily design-focused, I worked within a semi-development workflow, structuring modular UI kits for handoff and responsive adaptation. I explored 3D prototyping using tools like Spline and SketchUp to create spatial visualisations and product mockups for internal presentations and concept exploration. Each design was prepped with real-world application in mind, screen-ready, export-optimised, and visually clear for developer collaboration.
Over the 3-month internship, I helped deliver visuals that enhanced brand visibility, improved user interaction flows, and added a sense of refined consistency to IIC's client and IP-facing projects. The graphics produced for V-Retail and V-Estate played a role in shaping their evolving digital identity. I developed a cross-functional skill set that combined brand storytelling, interface logic, and visual precision, leaving a meaningful creative footprint across teams and outputs.
