If I'm in a creative block, I step away. A walk, stretch, or even just changing rooms resets my rhythm. Physical movement translates to mental momentum. I return to the screen with new energy and often new ideas that come when I’m not trying too hard.
Instead of waiting for inspiration, I create it. I do 30-minute mini design sprints, pick a word, design a visual. I don’t judge the outcome. These micro-projects let me play again. I treat them like sketching with pixels, not pressure. They train my eye, refine my instincts, and sometimes spark client-level ideas.
Music plays a huge role in my creativity. Playlists help set the tone – ambient for UI design and energetic for branding. I also lean on AI tools like ChatGPT to explore language, generate titles, or brainstorm directions. When I feel stuck, I let the tools support me. Creativity isn’t about always being "on"; it’s about creating systems that help you begin.
